Brilliant young couple, Juanita Sinclair Wilson and De’Von T. Walker, inspired by the History of Black Wall Street has created a board game built around Black Wall Street that actually teaches financial literacy and entrepreneurship in an entertaining way.
Black Wall Street was a small community in Northern Tulsa, Oklahoma that grew from one visionaries land purchase that was developed into a thriving community of Black families, professionals and entrepreneurs. Black Wall Street, also known as Greenwood, became a self sustaining stronghold of Black wealth, freedom and pride. Amazingly, this community was able to become economically self sufficient only 50 years after the emancipation from slavery.
In recent years a resurgence of pride, self sufficiency and entrepreneurship has been observed in Greenwood and in the hearts of Black Americans nationwide.
As a result, this brilliant black wall street board game has begun to become a catalyst to further spur on the awareness of the kinetic power of financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
The Black Wall Street Board Game now in it’s second edition is now, bigger, better, more powerful and more fun.
